CE Certification CNG Pressure Gauge 5V 12V for Auto Cars - China Suppliers & Factory - Essential for Natural Gas Vehicles Manufacturers, Factory

,

A CNG gas pressure gauge is a vital component used in natural gas vehicles, especially for those sourced from China. This gauge is installed on the inlet valve that connects the CNG pressure regulator to the gas cylinder, allowing users to monitor the natural gas pressure inside the cylinder. Equipped with an internal gas pressure sensor, it transmits real-time pressure signals to the fuel/gas conversion switch located in the driver's cab. This feature enables drivers to keep track of the gas volume effectively.

,

Additionally, the product includes a matching indicator light-type conversion switch, which enhances user convenience. When the onboard gas tank is full (pressure between 180-200 bar), all four green indicator lights on the conversion switch illuminate, while the red light remains off. As the pressure decreases—falling to 165-155 bar, 130-120 bar, and then 90-70 bar—each successive green light turns off. Once the pressure reaches 45-35 bar, the final green light switches off and a red alarm light activates, indicating that there is enough gas in the tank to allow the vehicle to travel approximately 15-25 kilometers, depending on the model. The option for a digital conversion switch is also available.

,

As a leading supplier and factory in the industry, we ensure that our CNG gas pressure gauges meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, making them an excellent choice for any natural gas vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q What is the maximum working pressure this pressure gauge can handle?
The gauge has a working pressure of 200 Bar, a test pressure of 400 Bar, an overpressure rating of 520 Bar, and a burst pressure of 1,000 Bar, ensuring a wide safety margin for demanding industrial applications.
Q Is this pressure gauge suitable for hydrogen or H2S gas environments?
Yes. The gauge is specifically designed to resist sulfide attack, making it suitable for hydrogen fueling stations, H2S gas handling, and NGV / R110 high-pressure hydrogen systems while maintaining measurement accuracy.
Q What thread connections are available?
The gauge supports 1/4 BSP and M14×1.5 thread connections with a radial connection orientation, making it compatible with a wide range of industrial fittings and piping systems.
Q What power supply does this gauge require, and how is it wired?
The gauge operates on DC 12V or 5V power. Wiring is straightforward: Red wire connects to the DC power supply (12V or 5V), White wire carries the output signal, and Black wire connects to ground.
Q How does the LED indicator display pressure levels?
The indicator uses a color-coded light system: a red light is on at 0–3 MPa. At 5 MPa, the red light turns off and 1 green light activates. At 10 MPa, 2 green lights are on; at 15 MPa, 3 green lights; and at 20 MPa or above, all 4 green lights illuminate.
Q What is the operating temperature range and waterproof rating?
The gauge operates reliably from -30℃ to 100℃, covering extreme cold and high-heat industrial environments. It carries an IP65 waterproof rating, providing full protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for washdown and outdoor use.
