CE Certification 0–140 Bar / 2000 PSI Black Steel Pressure Gauge – ¼” NPT, Radial Mount Manufacturers, Supplier

The black iron shell oxygen gauge (also known as a black iron shell oxygen pressure gauge / oil-free oxygen gauge) is an oil-free pressure measuring instrument designed specifically for oxygen media. Its core is a black iron powder-coated shell + an oil-free pressure measuring system. It is suitable for oxygen cylinders, welding and cutting, medical oxygen supply, chemical and other scenarios, and is used for oxygen pressure display and safety monitoring. It features low cost, good protection and strong adaptability.

The black iron casing is corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant, with a glass crystal, suitable for both industrial and outdoor applications. The pressure sensing elements are primarily phosphor bronze/copper alloy Bourdon tubes, while the movement and connectors are all copper alloy. The entire process is oil-free to prevent the risk of explosion caused by the mixture of grease and oxygen.

Indication and scale unit: Pointer + dial, clearly marking pressure units (MPa/PSI), dual scale optional, intuitively displaying pressure values. Connection and sealing components: Copper connectors, with threads available in NPT, BSP, ZG, etc., equipped with sealing gaskets to ensure airtightness and leak-proof operation.

Core Features and Advantages

Oil-Free Safety Features

As a dedicated oxygen gauge, its core pressure-sensing components (Bourdon tube, mechanism) and connectors are all treated with oil-free/oil-free processes. This completely eliminates the risk of combustion and explosion caused by contact between grease and high-pressure oxygen, a core safety advantage that distinguishes it from ordinary pressure gauges.

High Cost-Effectiveness

The black iron powder-coated shell has a lower cost, meeting requirements at a more economical price. At the same time, the powder coating has excellent rust and corrosion resistance, resisting moisture and dust corrosion in daily environments, and its durability is fully suitable for outdoor, workshop, and other conventional working conditions.

Flexible Installation & Adaptability

Supports multiple installation methods, with interface threads covering various specifications such as NPT, BSP, and ZG. It can directly match common interfaces such as oxygen cylinder valves, oxygen supply pipelines, and welding equipment, without the need for additional adapters. Its compact size and lightweight design make it convenient for both fixed installation and temporary calibration.

Low Maintenance Costs

Simple structure and few vulnerable parts, daily maintenance only requires periodic accuracy calibration; in case of failure, the cost of replacing parts is far low, making it ideal for scenarios requiring mass instrument configuration, such as welding and cutting, gas cylinder filling, and medical oxygen supply stations.

Typical Application Fields

Medical Oxygen Supply Hospital central oxygen supply and oxygen cylinder pressure display to ensure safe oxygen supply.
Chemical / Metallurgical Pressure measurement of oxygen pipelines, reaction vessels, etc., adaptable to industrial production processes.
Cylinder Filling Pressure monitoring and control during oxygen filling to ensure filling safety.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why is oil-free treatment essential for oxygen pressure gauges?
High-pressure oxygen can react violently with grease or oil, causing combustion or explosion. Oil-free treatment on internal components ensures maximum operational safety in pure oxygen environments.
What connection thread options are available for this gauge?
The gauge supports standard threads including 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" across NPT, BSP (G, PF), and PT (BSPT, ZG) specifications.
What dial sizes can I choose from?
We offer standard dial sizes of 40mm (1.5"), 50mm (2"), 60mm (2.5"), 75mm (3"), and 100mm (4") to fit various space and visibility requirements.
Is the gauge suitable for outdoor industrial environments?
Yes. The black iron powder-coated casing provides superior rust and corrosion resistance, protecting internal components against moisture and dust in outdoor or workshop conditions.
What maintenance routine is recommended for this gauge?
Due to its robust brass movement and simple mechanical layout, only periodic accuracy calibration is required. Replacement parts are highly economical should any repairs be needed.
